A new look for PlanCharlotte.org
Welcome to a new look for the PlanCharlotte.org web pages.
You’ll find all the content from our previous set of pages, but with a new look. Why change? We have several reasons.
- It was time for a fresh look at our website, which we launched in March 2012. We also wanted a design that was, in some instances, easier to navigate and one more accessible to readers with disabilities.
- The new design will allow us to create pages that are more compatible with mobile devices, because we realize more and more readers use smart phones or tablets to access our articles and data resources.
- Last but not least, we want our web publications to make clear that PlanCharlotte, a part of the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute, is a proud part of UNC Charlotte. Our redesign is part of an ongoing process over several years to bring a unified look to all the university’s varied departments and online pages.
The UNC Charlotte Urban Institute’s Regional Indicators Project web pages will be redesigned in coming weeks.
For more than 40 years, the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute has been a bridge between the greater Charlotte region and university and its resources. Over the years, as methods of engaging with the community have come to rely more heavily on online outreach, we too have shifted more of our communications online. In this way we can make more of our work available quickly.
We hope you’ll like what you see. And as you look through our newly designed offerings, please let us know if you encounter difficulties, have problems or otherwise just want to let us know what you think. Click here to email us.
